Willian Wallace, herói escocês (1276-1305) - Guerreiro escocês foi o precurssor da liberdade da Escócia tendo como grande feito ter vencido os ingleses na batalha de Stirling Bridge. Retratado no filme "Brave Heart" por Mel Gibson. (cuidado - o filme apesar de excelente possui muitos anacronismos históricos).
